Woman arrested for robbing Shaun Rogers

The woman who allegedly robbed Shaun Rogers was wanted for a string of high-end larcenies.

Jim O’Connor-US PRESSWIRE

A women has been arrested for the robbery of New York Giants defensive tackle Shaun Rogers, according to the New York Daily News. Subhanna Beyah, 25, was wanted as a fugitive from justice for multiple larcenies involving cash and jewelry. She was finally brought down in Queens after allegedly taking over $500,000 worth of Rogers' bling from his Miami Beach hotel room.

Rogers was hanging out at Club Liv in Florida with friends and brought a woman back to his hotel at 7 p.m. ET. When Rogers awoke the next day at 12:30 p.m., his safe holding expensive wristwatches, diamond earrings, gold bracelets and more had been jammed shut with the items missing.

Why Rogers felt he needed to travel so swankily is unclear. Unfortunately, he happened to run in to the wrong woman that night. It is still unknown whether Rogers’ jewelry has been found.

Beyah was arraigned on fugitive charges Sunday morning.
