Rolando McClain pleads not guilty to latest charges

The troubled former linebacker is maintaining his innocence despite recent accusations.

Former Oakland Raiders and Baltimore Ravens linebacker Rolando McClain has pleaded not guilty to charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, according to the Baltimore Sun.

McClain is in trouble over an alleged incident which took place on April 21 in Decatur, Ala. According to reports, McClain shouted profanity at police when they arrived to answer a call and then tried twice to avoid being arrested by pulling his arms away.

After three years in the NFL, McClain retired amid legal problems. A first-round pick in 2010 out of Alabama, McClain has had plenty of off-the-field issues, including being convicted of third-degree assault, menacing, reckless endangerment and illegal discharge of a firearm in the city limits, per the Sun.

He was also sentenced to jail for 180 days for threatening to kill someone while discharging a gun next to their head before the case was dropped when the victim no longer wanted to pursue the case.

Balitmore was willing to give McClain a second chance, but he screwed it up in less than two weeks before being released.
