Mike Flacco, a former minor-league baseball player and younger brother of Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, has enrolled at New Haven University and will play football for the Division II school next season, according to FOXSports.com's Mike Garafolo.

The 26-year-old Flacco has not played football since high school, but he enrolled at the Connecticut university and will play tight end.
He was a 31st-round pick of the Baltimore Orioles in the 2009 MLB Draft out of Community College of Baltimore County-Catonsville. The highest level of the Orioles' system he made was Double-A, where he played just four games for the Bowie Baysox. He batted .253 in four seasons, mostly playing in Low-A and Advanced-A.
When Joe Flacco was preparing for the Super Bowl in January, Mike publicly expressed his desire to "be there" with his brother. A trade from the Orioles to the Boston Red Sox organization seemed to have been the final nudge to make Mike Flacco give up baseball for football, Garafolo said.
