Cowboys plan to sign OT Demetress Bell, according to report
Demetress Bell looks set to head from Philadelphia to NFC East rival Dallas.

Bell started five games for the Eagles last season after signing a five-year deal with nearly $35 million, but a salary cap crunch forced Philadelphia to release him after just one year. He has been in contact with the Cowboys throughout the spring as Dallas tried to trim its payroll to clear up cap space. Now that he is expected to sign, he gives the Cowboys a backup option at both tackle positions, which is especially important with the lack of options behind Tyron Smith at left tackle.
Dallas is expected to sign Alex Tanney and Lavasier Tuinei at the start of training camp as well, leaving the team with one open roster spot left. Training camp begins on Sunday in Oxnard, California.
