AT&T is in the process of buying the naming rights to Cowboys Stadium, according to Fox Sports Southwest. Details of the agreement are still being sorted out, but the new naming rights would likely go in effect beginning with the 2014 season.
AT&T nearing deal to buy naming rights to Cowboys Stadium, per report
Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys are working out an agreement with AT&T for the naming rights of Cowboys Stadium.

The Cowboys have reportedly asked for $25 million per year for sponsorship rights in the past, which would put the franchise on top of the American sports world in terms of annual revenue from naming rights. The organization may have backed off that figure recently, however. The team is reportedly using a $700 million bid by Farmers Insurance for a new stadium in Los Angeles and the San Francisco 49ers' recent 20-year, $220 million deal with Levi Strauss as references.
Reports have yet to indicate how the AT&T brand will be applied to the stadium. Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones has been adamant in the past that the name “Cowboys Stadium” remain a staple of the team’s identity and branding.
The Cowboys opened their current $1.3 billion facility in May 2009. It replaced the Cowboys’ former home at Texas Stadium, which opened in 1971.
