With training camps getting underway, teams have begun to place players on the physically unable to perform list to keep injured players from taking up roster spots. Santonio Holmes, Ahmad Bradshaw and Roman Harper lead the list of players on their respective teams' PUP lists.
NFL PUP list: Santonio Holmes, Ahmad Bradshaw, Roman Harper and Rob Gronkowski all out
A slew of players have been played on the PUP list, which will keep them out for at least the start of training camp.

Rob Gronkowski is among seven players players named to the New England Patriots' PUP list. Gronkowski's inclusion was a formality after the tight end underwent multiple operations on his left arm and back surgery this offseason. Julian Edelman, Mark Harrison, Armond Armstrong, Matt Stankiewitch, Nick McDonals and Kanorris Davis all join him on the list.
Chance Warmack, the 10th overall pick in the NFL Draft, is not on the Tennessee Titans' PUP list, but he will not play in training camp because he and and team remain far apart on contract negotiations. Delanie Walker, Kevin Walter and Robert Johnson are on the Titans' list to begin Titans' training camp and will be out.
Players put on the PUP list do not take up a roster spot and can be activated at any time, but they are not allowed to practice either. If a player is still on the list when the season starts then they cannot return until after their team plays six games.
