The Oakland Raiders have a high interest level in signing free agent offensive lineman Travelle Wharton, according to ESPN's Bill Williamson. Wharton has drawn the interest of several teams around the league this offseason.
NFL rumors: Raiders interested in OL Travelle Wharton, per report
The Raiders apparently have interest in adding the ex-Bengals lineman, but do they have the best offer on the table?

Wharton's eventual landing place is still rather unpredictable at this point, as Williamson indicated that the Raiders do not seem to be the leading offer at this time. The 32-year-old spent Wednesday visiting with the Carolina Panthers, where he played his first eight NFL seasons.
Wharton was cut by the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday after just one season on the roster. He joined the Bengals in 2012 after parting with Carolina, but suffered a torn ACL in a preseason game, forcing him to miss the entire season. He did not take part in team OTA's this offseason and was cut before the beginning of training camp.
Wharton joined the Panthers in 2004 as a third-round pick. Over the next eight seasons, he started 99 games at both guard and tackle.
