The NFL is getting closer to implementing HGH testing and some players are happy to hear about it. Adrian Peterson said on Friday that he knows plenty of NFL players that are using or have used HGH. Peterson had some wondering whether or not he was using performance enhancing drugs when he returned from a torn ACL to rush for 2,000-yard season, but the star running back insists he's clean and hopes testing can weed out those who aren't.
NFL news roundup: Adrian Peterson talks HGH, Aaron Rodgers disappointed about Ryan Braun
Performance-enhancing drugs were the hot topic on Friday as various players commented on them or were suspended due to them.

Aaron Rodgers vehemently showed his support for Milwaukee Brewers' slugger Ryan Braun. But after Braun was suspended this week for performance enhancing drugs, Rodgers said he was shocked and disappointed to learn about what had all happened. Braun is suspended for the remainder of the MLB season.
Santonio Holmes' injury situation is becoming more and more concerning by the day. Holmes missed most of the 2012 season with a Grade 4 Lisfranc injury. The foot injury landed him on the physically unable to perform list to open Jets training camp and he told reporters on Friday that he can't say whether he will be able to play in 2013.
It wouldn't be a day in the NFL offseason without a player getting suspended for something. On Friday, Washington Redskins defensive end Jarvis Jenkins was the latest victim, receiving a four-game suspension for performance enhancing drugs. He was expected to fill in for Ryan Kerrigan, who recently had to have a third surgery on his torn quadriceps muscle.
