There was a scary situation at Browns practice on Saturday as offensive lineman Ryan Miller was carted off the field and taken to a local hospital.

Miller went down not long into practice and stayed on the ground for nearly 10 minutes. Cabot reports that he was tended to by trainers as players gathered around, many taking a knee to pray. The offensive lineman was eventually immobilized and carted off the field before being transported to a local hospital.
The Browns initially asked media to not report the identity of the player until his family had been notified. Not long after being transported, though, a team spokesman said Miller was awake, alert and moving all four extremities. Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski gathered the team for a huddle following the injury with practice resuming shortly after.
The 24-year-old offensive linemen is entering his second year in the NFLafter being selected in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
UPDATE: According to Cabot, Miller suffered a concussion and is expected to be released from the hospital Saturday night.
