Justin Blackmon injury: Jaguars WR had groin surgery recently
Justin Blackmon recently underwent groin surgery, though there’s hope he’ll be ready for the start of Jaguars training camp.

Blackmon is suspended for the first four games of the 2013 season due to a violation of the NFL's substance abuse policy. He is not eligible to return to the Jaguars' roster until Monday, Sept. 30, after the Jags host the Indianapolis Colts in Week 4. Essentially he will have plenty of time to recover, barring any setbacks.
Blackmon had no trouble staying on the field his rookie season, appearing in every game while compiling 64 receptions for 865 yards and five touchdowns. Blackmon led the Jags with 133 targets last season.
Mohamed Massaquoi is expected to start opposite Cecil Shorts III when the Jaguars open the season.
