New York Jets running back Chris Ivory has resumed practice in a limited role, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.
Chris Ivory injury: Jets RB limited in practice
Ivory practiced for the first time all training camp on Sunday.

Ivory hasn’t practice at all during Jets camp but participated in individual drills on Sunday. The newly-acquired running back has been dealing with hamstring tightness throughout camp.
Back in April, New York traded a fourth-round pick to the New Orleans Saints for Ivory. The 25-year-old Ivory has never had a chance to be a featured running back. He has a career high of 137 carries in a season.
Still, the Jets may be counting on him to do just that. Given his history with nagging injuries and lack of experience with a heavy workload, the Jets are rolling the dice a bit.
Ivory’s career 5.1 yards per carry average was part of what attracted the Jets to him, though. And while he doesn’t have the experience, Ivory has the talent to be a No. 1 running back. So long as he stays healthy.
