Minnesota defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd is set to undergo an MRI on his left knee, according to Dan Wiederer of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.
Sharrif Floyd injury: Vikings DT undergoing MRI on knee
The Vikings are being cautious with their first-round draft pick.

Floyd's knee is reportedly more sore Sunday than it was on Saturday after the Vikings' first-round pick injured the knee during Friday's preseason game against the Houston Texans. Minnesota coach Leslie Frazier is not overly concerned about the injury, but the team is being understandably cautious in regards to the team's high draft pick.
Floyd went down on a cut block, but Frazier said the defensive lineman could have come back into the game if needed. Kevin Williams is currently the Vikings' starter at 3-technique, but Floyd has been seeing reps with the starters while Williams has been injured.
The Vikings are likely to be cautious with Floyd, who was one of the team’s three first-round draft picks this season.
