Santonio Holmes is recovering from a lisfranc surgery, and some people in the Jets' organization think he is milking that recovery, according to ESPN New York.
Santonio Holmes injury: Some feel Jets WR taking his time with foot issue
Is Holmes taking his time in coming back from lisfranc surgery?

Holmes has a $10.75 million cap hit for the 2014 season and is likely to be a cap casualty, so 2013 is essentially a contract year for him. That’s led some to speculate that he’s not going to rush himself back into action. He’ll have to be healthy in order to regain the form he had with Pittsburgh before being traded to the Jets.
The Jets have refused to commit to whether or not Holmes will be ready for the season opener, but ESPN New York reports that some have speculated that he won’t be ready until October.
Holmes’ lisfranc fracture was diagnosed as a “Grade 4” injury -- the most severe of its kind. He’s been out since Week 4 of the 2012 season and remains on the Jets’ physically unable to perform list.
