Levi Brown is back with the Cardinals after missing the 2012 season with a torn triceps and he's finding out really quickly where he stands. Last week, he faced Clay Matthews and this week, he'll have to block DeMarcus Ware, but the tackle is looking just fine, Bruce Arians told the team's website.
Levi Brown returns after season away for Cardinals
The Cardinals’ left tackle is back on the field and he’s being tested right away.

“He played extremely well against Clay and I’m anxious to see him this week against DeMarcus,” Arians said. “He’s getting battle tested against two of the best in the NFC right off the bat.”
Brown also missed OTAs so training camp, and now preseason games, have been his first chance to test his triceps. He said his arm is “not bad,” but has no concerns with it right now.
“Neither arm really fully extends all the way out after all these years of constantly punching, but it is what it is,” Brown said.
The good thing is that even if he struggles with Ware, it is just the preseason. He will have three weeks after that to get ready for the season and he should be even better by Week 1 because he’s still not in great shape. Once he is, the Cardinals think they will have their ace left tackle back again.
