The Tennessee Titans were without two of their top receivers on Tuesday as Kenny Britt missed practice for the third straight day and was joined on the sideline by Kendall Wright, according to Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean.

Britt continues to sit out due to soreness and swelling in his right knee. He said he felt great after practice on Monday, but was on the sidelines once again on Tuesday.

“No concerns at all,” Britt said on Monday, via the Tennessean. “I wish I could be out there practicing with the fellas, but I am just taking a few days off and making sure I don’t have any setbacks.”

He’s battled knee injuries throughout his career including a torn ACL in his left knee in 2011. He previously had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee as well. Earlier this week, head coach Mike Munchak said Britt is expected to play in Saturday’s preseason game against Cincinnati.

Wright joined Britt on the sideline on Tuesday due to a sore calf according to Wyatt. The second-year receiver has been one of the standouts during training camp. Munchak didn’t list him as one of the players ruled out for Saturday’s preseason game, so Tuesday’s absence may have just been precautionary.
