New Orleans Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma missed yet another practice Wednesday with an injury. The Saints have not disclosed what kind of injury he has, and head coach Sean Payton said he won't discuss injury situations. Vilma is flying to Philadelphia to get a second opinion and has no timetable set for a return.
Jonathan Vilma misses Saints practice with undisclosed injury
Vilma is still battling a mysterious injury that’s keeping him out of practice. He will fly to Philadelphia to get a second opinion.

Vilma has missed six out of eight practice sessions with the team and did not play in the preseason opener against the Kansas City Chiefs. It's unlikely that he will be available for the next game against the Oakland Raiders.
Vilma recorded just 37 tackles, one sack and an intercpetion with the Saints last season while missing six games with a knee injury. He has underwent multiple knee surgeries in recent years and hasn’t played 16 games since 2010. The 31-year-old is expected to be the starting middle linebacker in Rob Ryan’s 3-4 defense if he is able to get healthy again.
