The San Francisco 49ers didn't start their season the way they wanted after being held without a touchdown in last week's loss to the Denver Broncos. They have a good chance of rebounding this week, though, with an away game against the Kansas City Chiefs on the schedule.
49ers vs. Chiefs: How to watch online, TV schedule, radio and more
The 49ers are looking to get their first win of the preseason against former first-round pick Alex Smith and the Kansas City Chiefs.

The 49ers are expected to make another run toward the Super Bowl this season, but they didn't look primed for that following last week's 10-6 loss to the Denver Broncos. The good news in that game, though, was that starter Colin Kaepernick completed all four of his pass attempts on the first drive before being rested for the rest of the game.
Kansas City actually looked solid early against the New Orleans Saints in its preseason opener, as former 49er Alex Smith went 7-of-8 for 68 yards in his debut and Jamaal Charles scored a touchdown. The Chiefs went on to lose, however, and are apparently privately concerned about an injury Charles suffered this week during practice.
