The Buffalo Bills may have beaten the Minnesota Vikings in preseason action on Friday, but their ongoing quarterback battle didn't gain much clarity. Still, the Bills looked relatively good en route to their 20-16 win at home.
Vikings vs. Bills final score: Buffalo’s Kevin Kolb, E.J. Manuel continue battling with 20-16 win
The Buffalo Bills didn’t get a whole lot of clarity for their quarterback position, but they bested the Minnesota Vikings, 20-16.

Kevin Kolb made the start and played OK before giving way to E.J. Manuel. Kolb completed 13 of 21 passes for 111 yards with no touchdowns and an interception. Kolb didn't play in the team's preseason opener due to inactivity in practice the week prior, so Manuel got the start and played well in that game.
Manuel ended up with a 10-for-12 mark for 92 yards and a touchdown against the Vikings.
McLeod Bethel-Thompson was Minnesota's third quarterback to take the field and played the best out of all three. He finished with a 10-for-17 mark for 107 yards, and hit Rodney Smith for a 35-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter to put the Vikings within four points, but it wasn't enough to push them to a win.
