The Cincinnati Bengals have high hopes for the 2013 season, and they will kick off their home slate of games on Saturday against the young Tennessee Titans on Saturday night at Paul Brown Stadium.
Titans vs. Bengals: How to watch online, TV schedule, radio and more
A pair of old AFC Central rivals get together for a friendly affair on Saturday night.
Cincinnati has all the pieces for a real contender, but the one looming question remains Andy Dalton. The third-year quarterback out of TCU has been good throughout his short career, but for the Bengals to take the next step, Dalton will have to continue to make progress.
In his first preseason game this year against the Atlanta Falcons, Dalton threw for 37 yards on 3-of-7 passing.
On the other sideline, the storyline is certainly the play of Jake Locker, another quarterback from the 2011 draft class. In his first season as a starter last year, Locker was very uneven with a line of 10 touchdowns, 11 interceptions and a completion percentage of 56.4.
Locker was 7-of-11 for 58 yards and sacked twice in the Titans' exhibition opener versus the Washington Redskins, getting beat 22-21.
