Rod Streater injury: Raiders WR has concussion
The Raiders confirmed Rod Streater suffered a concussion in Friday’s preseason game.

Streater is now unlikely to play in next week’s preseason finale and isn’t a sure thing to suit up the team’s regular season opener in Indianapolis. He’s the No. 2 receiver on the team behind Denarius Moore. Streater caught 39 passes for 584 yards and three touchdowns in his rookie year last season.
The injury is another blow to the Raiders, who can ill afford to lose one of their few genuinely talented players. A pure possession receiver, Streater is expected to be a reliable safety valve for the weak-armed Matt Flynn--assuming Flynn even wins the starting job. The quarterback position is once again up for grabs after a dismal showing on Friday.
