NFL roster cuts: Eagles release 10 players
Philadelphia is one step closer to trimming its roster down to 75 players before Tuesday’s deadline.

According to Jimmy Kempski of Bleeding Green Nation cornerback Eddie Whitley, punter Brad Wing, tight end Derek Carrier, defensive end Eddie McClam, wide receiver Nick Miller, tackle Nic Purcell, offensive lineman Isaac Remington, tight end Will Shaw, defensive tackle Daryell Walker and long snapper James Winchester were all cut on Sunday.
Whitley injured his knee during Saturday’s game and came to an injury settlement with the Eagles, but the rest of the players were cut outright. Wing, a punter from LSU, left school early after he was suspended for his final college game.
Philadelphia needs to trim its roster down to 75 players by the league’s 4 p.m. ET deadline on Tuesday.
