The Arizona Cardinals are exploring trade options for running back Ryan Williams before the cutdown deadline, according to Jason Laconfora of CBS Sports.
Cardinals exploring Ryan Williams trades, per report
The Cardinals have a crowded backfield and there may not be room for Ryan Williams anymore.

Arizona's backfield is crowded. The Cardinals signed Rashard Mendenhall this offseason and drafted both Stepfan Taylor of Stanford and Andre Ellington of Clemson. Alfonzo Smith has also worked his way into the mix, while Williams has been slowed by a knee injury.
Few have called Williams’ talent into question, but he has struggled to stay on the field during his NFL career. The fact that the Cardinals drafted two running backs in April’s draft doesn’t bode well for Williams’ future in that backfield.
Whether or not someone will be willing to trade for Williams is up for debate. He has plenty of upside, but he will likely be a camp cut in the coming week if a deal is not reached.
