The Baltimore Ravens have placed linebacker Jameel McClain on the physically unable to perform List, according to the team's official twitter.
Baltimore Ravens place Jameel McClain on PUP list
John Harbaugh and co. made the expected move with McClain, who needs more time to rehab his back injury.

Baltimore also put rookie defensive lineman Kapron Lewis-Moore on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury List. The moves come on the day when NFL teams have to get their rosters down to 75 players, giving the Ravens some clarity and two more spots on the active roster.
By placing McClain on the PUP list, he will be sitting out for a minimum of the first six regular season tilts. McClain was expected to miss ample time after suffering a very scary and serious spinal cord contusion last December. In fact, it’s possible McClain will be out for the entire season while recovering.
Without McClain, who made 79 tackles last year, the Ravens are without all four of their main linebackers from their Super Bowl squad. Paul Kruger moved on to the Cleveland Browns, Ray Lewis retired, and Dannell Ellerbe signed with the Miami Dolphins.
