Cleveland Browns linebacker Barkevious Mingo has started his recovery from a bruised lung. Barkevious Mingo injury: Browns LB starts recovery from bruised lung
Barkevious Mingo will test his bruised lung in Tuesday’s practice and do a little running, but the Browns still have no timetable for his return.

“We have no timetable,” Chudzinski said. “We’ll just have to see how he progresses and how he heals.”
The No. 6 overall pick out of LSU, Mingo will miss Thursday’s preseason finale and isn’t a sure thing to play in the regular season opener, but Chudzinski isn’t ready to place him on injured reserve, which would cost him at least half the season.
Guard Jason Pinkston had a similar injury last year, when he suffered a blood clot in his lung. He believes that Mingo is making good progress. “He’ll come back strong and I can’t wait to see him play. He was really coming along.”
