Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon will begin serving a four-game suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy after Thursday's preseason finale, Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union reported Tuesday.
Justin Blackmon starts 4-game suspension for Jaguars
Blackmon will have limited access to team activities over the next month.

Blackmon spent the first few weeks of training camp recovering from offseason groin surgery, but he's played pretty well in his team's preseason games. Following Thursday's preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons, however, Blackmon won't be eligible to practice with the team until Sept. 30 -- the Monday after Jacksonville's Week 4 game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Blackmon is allowed to attend team meetings and use team workout facilities while he’s suspended, but the receiver can’t attend practices or games.
