Buffalo Bills quarterback Kevin Kolb might have suffered the most bizarre injury in training camp so far. While walking out to the practice field in full pads, Kolb slipped on a wet mat and tweaked his knee. He is currently considered day to day and isn't expected to miss any preseason time, although this gives rookie E.J. Manuel a bigger opportunity to seize the starting job.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is still recovering from offseason back surgery. As a result, he will not be playing in Sunday's Hall of Fame Game against the Miami Dolphins. Running back DeMarco Murray and wide receiver Dez Bryant will also be sitting out, while the other starters will be playing one or two drives at most.
Since the Cowboys will be playing five preseason games this year, it only makes sense to rest their biggest stars for the frivolous exhibition game in Canton.
Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Jonathan Martin is moving to left tackle after spending his rookie year on the right side. He's had a rough go at it in training camp, though, getting dominated by Olivier Vernon and Dion Jordan in drills. On the upside, he has been dominant in run blocking.
Martin is now tasked with protecting Ryan Tannehill's blind side after the Dolphins lost Jake Long to free agency. They tried to address the left tackle position in the offseason, but a trade for Kansas City's Branden Albert fell through before the draft.
The NFL is cracking down on yet another touchdown celebration. From now on, spinning the ball on the ground--a move made famous by Carolina’s Steve Smith--is considered taunting and will be flagged for a 15-yard penalty. This move likely won’t be popular to fans who enjoy touchdown celebrations and refer to the league as the No Fun League.
Detroit Lions wide receiver Mike Thomas is having a terrible training camp and could find himself off the team sooner than later. According to mlive.com, Thomas is buried with the third team, but has been shut down by fringe defenders and stopped running routes at times.
It's a sharp decline for Thomas, once thought to be a promising player with the Jaguars. After getting a three-year, $18 million extension from former GM Gene Smith, Thomas completely busted and was traded to the Lions midseason in 2012.
