Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Emmanuel Lamur will miss the upcoming NFL season with a shoulder injury, according to Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports.
Emmanuel Lamur injury: Bengals LB reportedly lost for season
The Bengals lost a key depth player on Thursday night when Emmanuel Lamur went down in the first quarter.

Lamur was carted off the field in the first quarter of the Bengals' final preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts. The Bengals will likely place the linebacker on injured reserve to move closer to their final 53-man roster.
After signing as an undrafted rookie last season out of Kansas State, Lamur started to develop late in the year. Vontaze Burfict was the Bengals rookie linebacker that made the most headlines, but Lamur was one of Cincy’s top depth players as the season went on.
The Bengals have a deep roster, especially on defense, so they should be able to survive the loss of Lamur. His presence will be missed on special teams, however, where he was fifth on the team in tackles a year ago.
