The Houston Texans will travel north to face the Minnesota Vikings on Friday night, kicking off both teams' preseason slates. Both teams are coming off playoff berths in 2012, but failed to make it to their respective conference championships games.
Texans vs. Vikings: How to watch online, TV schedule, radio and more
The preseason officially begins on Friday night for the Texans and Vikings. Here’s how you can tune in or listen to the game.

The story for the Vikings entering the preseason is whether quarterback Christian Ponder is the long-term answer for the franchise. He did guide the team to the playoffs last year, but the Vikings were 31st in the league in passing yards, and Ponder's 18-touchdown, 12-interception line doesn't really inspire much confidence.
For the Texans, maybe the biggest story out of camp so far is who isn't there. Star running back Arian Foster has been on the PUP list since the beginning of camp with a calf strain, but now it sounds like he's experiencing some issues with his back. Houston has a very good backup in Ben Tate, but if Foster's absence continues into the season, it will not be good news in the slightest.
