Eric Fisher injury: Chiefs rookie injured in second quarter
The Kansas City Chiefs’ top draft pick was taken to the locker room late in the first half.

The Central Michigan product was head coach Andy Reid’s first big step in rebuilding the Chiefs. He was the consensus top pick heading into the draft and made his pro debut for the Chiefs on Friday night.
The rookie tackle was injured just before the two-minute warning while quarterback Chase Daniel was attempting to lead the Chiefs down the field for a late score. In Reid's debut with Kansas City, the Chiefs lead the Saints at the half 10-3 thanks to a Jamaal Charles touchdown run in the first quarter.
