Buffalo Bills quarterback E.J. Manuel returned to practice Sunday for the first time since undergoing knee surgery two weeks ago, according to the team's official website.
E.J. Manuel injury: Bills QB returns to practice Sunday
Will Manuel start Week 1 for Buffalo after returning to practice this weekend?

Manuel missed most of the preseason due to the surgery, but the Bills say it's a minor procedure and hope he will be ready for the regular season opener against the New England Patriots. Head coach Doug Marrone wants to see Manuel get a full week of practice in before he's ready to announce his Week 1 starter. Manuel is expected to be the full-time starter after Kevin Kolb went on injured reserve with a concussion.
The Bills seem optimistic about Manuel's recovery, choosing to keep just two quarterbacks on the final roster. Undrafted rookie Jeff Tuel will get the start if Manuel isn't ready for Week 1. The Bills traded for Thaddeus Lewis last week, but he will start the season on the practice squad.
