The NFL says that the New York Giants did not fake injuries in their Sunday night loss to the Dallas Cowboys, according to ESPN's Ed Werder. The league reviewed the injuries of Dan Connor and Cullen Jenkins, and concluded that they did not flop.
NFL says Giants didn’t fake injuries against Cowboys
The NFL has concluded that the Giants did not fake injuries against the Cowboys on Sunday, despite Jerry Jones’ protests.

After the game, owner Jerry Jones and quarterback Tony Romo suggested that Connor and Jenkins both faked injuries to slow down Dallas' no-huddle offense. Giants coach Tom Coughlin said that the accusation was "absolutely not true." Connor did not return to the game, while Jenkins eventually came back. The Giants did not specify what kind of injury Jenkins had, leading to Jones' accusation. From ESPN New York:
“I thought us experts on football were the only ones who could see that,” Jones said, laughing and winking. “No, it was so obvious it was funny. It wasn’t humorous because we really wanted the advantage, and knew we could get it if we could get the ball snapped.”
Before the season, the NFL sent out a memo to all 32 teams saying that faking injuries was a violation of league policy and would lead to disciplinary action. Flopping has gotten more attention in recent weeks after former Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher admitted that his team faked injuries.
