Rams vs. Falcons 2013 odds: Atlanta favorite to win at home

The Atlanta Falcons will be looking for their first win of the season when they host the Rams this weekend. According to the odds, they’ll get it.

Not many pundits believed the Atlanta Falcons would be the team in this Week 2 matchup without a victory to their credit, but that’s the case as they prepare to host the St. Louis Rams. The odds indicate the Falcons should get their first win of the season soon enough.

Atlanta opened as a seven-point favorite over St. Louis heading into Sunday afternoon’s matchup, according to SB Nation partner OddsShark. There hasn’t been a lot of change in that, either, considering that only one site is offering a different line, and only a slightly different one at that (Atlanta -7.5). For what it’s worth, OddsShark’s stats show that Atlanta is just 1-4 against the spread in its last five games.

The over-under is currently hovering between 47 and 48 points, a pretty reasonable number considering the Falcons’ first game had 40 total points scored and the Rams were able to score 27 points in their season-opening victory.
