NFL Week 2 preview: Cowboys vs. Chiefs

Two teams that notched impressive wins in Week 1 still have a lot to prove. Can Tony Romo avoid critical mistakes? Can Alex Smith improve his chemistry with Chiefs receivers? Don’t be surprised if this is one of Week 2’s better games.

After squeaking out a win against the Giants last week, the Dallas Cowboys now draw a much-improved Kansas City Chiefs team fresh off a shellacking of the hapless Jaguars. While new quarterback Alex Smith was solid and halfback Jamaal Charles found the end zone, it was the Chiefs defense that stole the show last Sunday, limiting Jacksonville to fewer than 200 total yards. They'll face a much stiffer test this weekend against Tony Romo, Dez Bryant and the rest of the Cowboys offense.
