Despite some reports that Broncos linebacker Von Miller had an arrest warrant issued for him in California, Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports says that no such warrant exists. In fact, Miller has a bench warrant out in California for an unpaid speeding ticket from about 18 months ago.
Von Miller not facing criminal charges or arrest in California
Earlier reports that Miller had an arrest warrant in California proved to be false. It was merely an unpaid speeding ticket.

Miller, who is currently serving a six-game suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy, was cited for going 10 miles per hour over the limit while driving a rental car in California. Miller forgot to pay the fine until the news about the arrest warrant came out. Joby Branion, Miller’s agent, ran a full criminal check on Miller nationwide and said that it came back clean, according to La Canfora.
Branion said that Miller will contact the Orange County court on Thursday to pay the amount due.
He was also cited for reckless driving in Denver for going 15 miles or more over the limit earlier in September.
