Titans vs. Texans inactives: Ed Reed will sit vs. Tennessee

The Texans still have yet to see what Ed Reed will bring to the field as he continues to sit after his hip surgery.

The Houston Texans and the Tennessee Titans both won their opening games against the San Diego Chargers and Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1. Now both teams hope to improve to 2-0 and take an early lead in the AFC South with Sunday's game.

The Texans will be without a few key players for the game, especially on defense. Veteran safety Ed Reed still has yet to play in 2013 after coming over the Baltimore Ravens in the offseason. Sam Montgomery, the team's third round choice out of LSU, will also not play.

As for the Titans, they'll rely on Chris Johnson for nearly all of the workload at running back since Shonn Greene will sit out. However, Justin Hunter is active and will make his season debut for the Titans at receiver, giving Jake Locker another talented option.
