Peyton Manning is currently winning Manning Bowl III. The Denver Broncos lead the New York Giants, 17-9, in the third quarter.
Peyton Manning touchdown to Wes Welker extends Broncos’ lead
Peyton Manning isn’t setting any new records this week, but he does have the Broncos leading the Giants in the third quarter.

After a record-setting seven touchdowns last week, Manning may not reach that number on Sunday. He was held without a touchdown pass in the first half despite getting more than 200 yards. That drought finally ended in the third quarter, when he hooked up with Wes Welker for a 2-yard score after a 53-yard drive. He has completed 23-of-34 passes for 234 yards and the touchdown at this moment.
As for his brother, Eli Manning is having a tough time. Manning is completing just 14-of-25 passes for 208 yards and an interception. The Giants are moving the ball, but they struggled to do anything in the red zone, settling for three field goals.
As the game enters the fourth quarter, Peyton is in good position to get another win over his younger brother even if he doesn’t reach the statistical heights of last week.
