When the Green Bay Packers and Washington Redskins met at Lambeau Field on Sunday, one quarterback proved that he is the league's most prolific passer. The other quarterback proved that he still he is still figuring things out as a second-year player, despite winning Rookie of the Year.
Robert Griffin III: ‘I’m the quarterback and the responsibility falls on me’
Washington’s second-year quarterback accepted the blame for his team’s dismal performance in Green Bay.

Aaron Rodgers was flawless in the Packers' 38-20 win on Sunday, setting a franchise record for passing yards. Robert Griffin III, meanwhile, couldn't get into a rhythm early and needed two garbage time touchdowns to salvage a 320-yard, three-touchdown performance.
But the Redskins again couldn’t get things going in the first half and fell to 0-2 on the season. Instead of the charismatic version of Griffin, he was again dejected in his postgame press conference. He didn’t hesitate to take blame for his team’s lousy start to the season.
“I’m the quarterback and the responsibility falls on me,” Griffin said.
But the Redskins’ struggles extend beyond a second-year quarterback recovering from a torn ACL. The defense has been terrible and the offensive line has struggled at times. Still, the confidence hasn’t wavered.
“We know this isn’t who we are as a team, and we’re going to work to figure this out,” Griffin said.
