E.J. Manuel led the Buffalo Bills to an unlikely come-from-behind victory against the Carolina Panthers and was overtaken by his emotions at the close of the game.

Manuel methodically ran the Bills’ offense and played a very good game with the exception of a second half interception and fumble. It was his final drive, the dagger he drove into the Panthers that will define the first weeks of his early career. It was too munch for Manuel to handle emotionally, as the first-year quarterback was seen weeping on the sideline following his first win.
With 1:38 left in the fourth quarter, beginning on his 20-yard line Manuel put forth the perfect drive to set up a 2-yard touchdown pass to a wide open Steve Johnson in the end zone. The Bills quarterback completed 6-of-8 passes for 51 yards, as well as scrambling for nine yards.
It was a well-deserved win for the first-year quarterback, who now gets to take on fellow rookie Geno Smith in next week's game against the New York Jets.
