For the Dolphins, the win was costly along the defensive line. According to The Phinsiders' Kevin Nogle, Miami defensive tackle Paul Soliai left the game in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game with an apparent leg injury. The veteran lineman did not return to the game. According to the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero, Soliai had his knee wrapped on the sideline following the injury. An update on his condition is expected on Monday.
The Colts' injuries following the loss to Miami will likely impact the team on offense moving forward. According to Pro Football Talk, Colts' offensive guard Donald Thomas has a torn quad muscle and is out for the season. Along with the injury to Thomas, Phillip Wilson of the Indianapolis Star reports that wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey is scheduled for an MRI on Monday after injuring his shoulder.
