Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice is day-to-day as he works his way back from a hip flexor injury, according to the team's official website.
Ray Rice injury: Ravens star day-to-day with hip flexor
Baltimore’s best back is trying to recover from his hip injury in time for Sunday.

Rice injured himself in the fourth quarter of the Ravens' 14-6 home win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Running right, Rice went down untouched and then limped off the field, not to return. With a game against the Houston Texans looming on Sunday, Rice is trying to get back on the field, although practicing this week is unlikely.
Head coach John Harbaugh and the team do not believe the injury is severe, not even requesting an MRI to look further. Per the piece:
“That’s the indication, that it’s not anything that’s really serious,” Head Coach John Harbaugh said Monday. “We’d be looking at it if we thought it was. It will just be day-to-day with him.”
With Dennis Pitta injured and Anquan Boldin gone, Baltimore has lost plenty of talent off its Super Bowl winning team of last season. Without Rice, the Ravens would have to start second-year running back Bernard Pierce, who has proven capable in a change-of-pace role.
