The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will meet on Thursday night at Lincoln Financial Field in Week 3 for one of the most anticipated games of the year.
NFL picks and predictions 2013: Chiefs vs. Eagles
On Thursday night, Andy Reid rides into Philadelphia to face his old team and its high-flying offense.

Andy Reid is returning to Philadelphia for the first time as an opposing coach after being fired at the end of last season. Reid was extremely successful during his 14 seasons with the Eagles, winning seven division titles and appearing in five NFC Championships and a Super Bowl.
Reid's new team, the Kansas City Chiefs, come into this contest 2-0 after beating the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday. The defense has been tremendous, allowing only 9.0 points per game (including a safety against the special teams) and recorded a league-high nine sacks.
The Eagles have been rolling offensively under coach Chip Kelly. Philadelphia racked up 30 points and over 500 yards of offense despite holding the ball for less than 20 minutes last week against the San Diego Chargers. However, the Eagles lost, 33-30.
Over at CBS Sports, six of the eight NFL experts picked the Chiefs to win on the road despite having a short week. Only Pete Prisco picked Philadelphia to cover the spread. It’s nearly an even split at ESPN: Seven experts are picking the Chiefs, and six are going with the Eagles.
At Yahoo! Sports, Frank Schwab is picking the Eagles to win, while Les Carpenter is going with the Chiefs. A Yahoo! fan poll has users picking the Eagles.
