NFL picks and predictions, Week 3: Browns vs. Vikings 2013
Adrian Peterson and the Vikings are heavy favorites in this battle of 0-2 teams.

The Browns have looked anemic in losses to the Dolphins and Ravens to start the season. After starting quarterback Brandon Weeden put up a 62.0 rating in those games, the team has turned to second-year man Brian Hoyer to lead them this weekend. Meanwhile, it's been a disappointing start for a Vikings team that is hoping to repeat its surprising 2012 playoff appearance. Already saddled by two losses to division foes (Lions in Week 1, Bears in Week 2), and with two games still looming against powerful Green Bay, the Vikings are in danger of falling into a hole they can't climb out of.
The Vikings still have Adrian Peterson though, and that fact has them as heavy favorites among NFL experts. The eight-analyst panel at CBS Sports has Minnesota as unanimous favorites, and four of them believe they will cover the 4½-point spread. It's a similar story over at ESPN, where the seven experts that have entered picks are all on the Vikings.
