Ryan Clady injury: Broncos LT has season-ending surgery

Clady left Sunday's win over the New York Giants with a foot injury. It was later revealed that he has a Lisfranc sprain and will require surgery. It's a huge blow to the Broncos, as Clady is one of the best left tackles in the league. He made the Pro Bowl three times since being drafted in the first round in 2008 and was named to the All-Pro team in 2009 and 2012. The Broncos gave him the franchise tag in the offsesason and later signed him to a five-year, $57.5 million extension with $33 million guaranteed.

Clady's loss opens up a big hole on Peyton Manning's blind side. Chris Clark will attempt to fill his shoes for now. Clark is an undrafted free agent from 2010 who has six career starts. The team signed Winston Justice on Wednesday as veteran insurance.
