How to watch Chiefs vs. Eagles 2013 online, TV schedule, radio and more

Andy Reid returns to Philadelphia. Will Chip Kelly and the Eagles spoil the comeback?

Rob Foldy-USA TODAY Sports

After 14 seasons as the head coach of the Eagles, Andy Reid will be back on the sidelines in Philadelphia on Thursday, but he'll be wearing red and gold instead of midnight green. Reid and the Chiefs will travel to Philadelphia to take on Chip Kelly and the Eagles on Thursday Night Football.

Following his departure from the Eagles, Reid landed in Kansas City where he took over a Chiefs team coming off a 2-14 season. The Chiefs have already matched their win total from a season ago thanks to a 2-0 start to the year. Kansas City hasn't thrown the ball all over the field, but Jamaal Charles leads a potent rushing attack and the defense has been stout early in the season.

Kelly took over for Reid and he’s brought his high-octane offense to Philadelphia. The Eagles are averaging 477.0 yards per game this season, trailing only Green Bay. The Eagles have been balanced, averaging 301 passing yards and 176 rushing yards per game. Philadelphia’s pass defense has been its weakness early on. The Eagles have allowed more than 700 passing yards through two weeks.

Thursday’s game will be a battle of strengths and weaknesses. The Eagles are second in the league in rushing, but will go up against a Chiefs defense allowing just 54 rushing yards per game. While teams have had success attacking Philadelphia through the air, the Chiefs are averaging just 185 passing yards per game.
