The Dolphins may not be surprised to find themselves at 2-0, but many fans of the league sure are. After road wins in Cleveland and Indianapolis, can Miami start a season 3-0 for the first time since 2002 and send Atlanta home with a losing record?
NFL picks and predictions, Week 3: Falcons vs. Dolphins 2013
Can surprising Miami keep their win streak going against one of the top teams in the NFC? Here is what experts around the web think.

The Miami Dolphins last started 2-0 in 2010 but stumbled to a 7-9 finish and started rebuilding the next year when head coach Tony Sparano was fired in the middle of the season. Second-year coach Joe Philbin has the Dolphins looking like the best over-achieving team in the league, but they face a real test with the Atlanta Falcons coming to town this weekend.
Atlanta blew a lead against the 49ers in the NFC Championship game last season and are 1-1 after a loss to the Saints and a win over the Rams so far this year. The Falcons have run the ball just 30 times through two games, relying heavily on Matt Ryan and Julio Jones. Teams have thrown on the Dolphins a lot this year, but without much success.
It looks like a tough Week 3 matchup to decide and five of eight experts at CBS Sports are picking the Falcons to win on the road. It’s also very close at ESPN, where eight of 14 experts are also going with Atlanta.
At Yahoo! Sports, two of three writers are choosing the Dolphins to remain undefeated. SB Nation picked the Dolphins over the Falcons this week.
It’s one of the most contentious picks of the week, thanks to Miami’s surprisingly solid start.
