Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy left Thursday night's game against the Kansas City Chiefs in the first half with an apparent leg injury, but returned in the second half.

McCoy was tackled on a routine play in the second quarter, but a Chiefs defender fell on his lower leg in the pile. The injury initially looked worse when McCoy was screaming in pain on the field surrounded by trainers, at one point throwing his helmet in anger. McCoy was able to leave for the locker room under his own power. There were less than two minutes left in the first half, making it difficult to draw any conclusions from the injury.
However, McCoy returned to the field for the Eagles’ first offensive possession of the second half. He didn’t have a chance to record a carry, however, with the Eagles’ drive ending in a punt.
McCoy has 66 rushing yards on the night, and has been vital in steadying the off-target Vick.
