Raiders head coach Dennis Allen has settled on a starting quarterback, he's just not telling anyone outside of the organization. On Monday, Allen said he may not announce who will start until Sunday, according to Bill Williamson of ESPN.com.
Raiders may not announce starting QB until Sunday
The Raiders know who will start at quarterback on Sunday, but they’re not telling.

According to the report Matt Flynn and Terrelle Pryor are aware of who will start. Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle reported Pryor took the first offensive snap during Monday's practice. That could be an indication Pryor will start against Indianapolis, but if a coach is going to deliberately not announce a starter, there is a chance he could disguise things in practice during the media window.
Flynn spent most of training camp as the presumed starter, but faltered late in the preseason and then missed practice time due to a sore arm. Pryor flashed ability, playing very well at times. He had a chance to seal up the starting job in the final preseason game against Seattle, but struggled mightily.
Williamson expects Pryor to start as his youth and talent at least offer some long-term upside. Flynn is limited as a passer and Williamson wrote he is better suited for a backup role.
