Week 3 can act as a catapult for two teams that came into the season with low expectations. The 1-1 Tennessee Titans have already unseated perennial AFC contender Pittsburgh and come within a play or two of toppling the Houston Texans. The San Diego Chargers, 1-1, also couldn't hang on against Houston, but took care of business against Philadelphia in Week 2. Tennessee heads into this game missing its short-yardage back, and San Diego is missing one of its premier targets.
Chargers vs. Titans 2013 injury report: Malcom Floyd, Shonn Greene ruled out for Sunday
San Diego wide receiver is out indefinitely with a neck injury, and Tennessee’s goal-line back will sit with a bum knee.

The good news for Chargers wideout Malcom Floyd is that he isn't in the hospital after a bone-crushing blow from Philly's DeMeco Ryans and Nate Allen left him motionless on the field Sunday. After leaving on a stretcher, Floyd's CT scan at a local hospital was negative and he was able travel back to Southern California with his teammates. The bad news is that Floyd remains out indefinitely after failing to practice all week, leaving the Chargers to rely more heavily on rookie wideout Keenan Allen and re-re-breakout star Eddie Royal.
Tennessee's offense will be missing a key cog, as well, with running back Shonn Greene expected to miss his second straight game due a knee injury. Greene left the Titans' Week 1 victory over Pittsburgh and wasn't expected to miss any time. But, the newly acquired free agent hasn't seen the practice field since and certainly won't suit up against San Diego.
