San Francisco 49ers All-Pro outside linebacker Aldon Smith was arrested for driving under the influence after a single-vehicle accident on Friday. Smith hit a tree and his car caused skid marks all over someone's driveway. He allegedly blew a .15 on the breathalyzer and was found with both marijuana and pills in the car. 49ers had coach Jim Harbaugh said that Smith would play in Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts. That is, of course, provided the league doesn't suspend him before that point.

The Cleveland Browns recently traded running back Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts for a first-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. Former Browns president Mike Holmgren deemed the trade a "knee-jerk reaction." He also said that, if he were head coach, he'd take it up with the owner. Many have panned the move as the Browns giving up on this season.
Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley called out his players on Friday. Of course, the team is without rookie Le'Veon Bell, who is dealing with an injury. Bell was going to be the starter before going down with the injury. Haley and the Steelers are off to an 0-2 start to the season.
