Houston Texans left tackle Duane Brown has been officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. This ends his streak of starting 78 consecutive games.
Duane Brown injury: Texans LT ruled out for Sunday’s game
The Texans suffered a massive blow this week. Left tackle Duane Brown has been ruled out for Sunday’s game with a toe injury.

Brown is dealing with severe turf toe and wasn't able to practice at all this week. He was expected to be a game time decision, but the Texans are shutting him down one day early. Ryan Harris will get the start this week. Brown is one of the best left tackles in the league, and his loss will be a huge blow to the Texans. Harris is matching up against Terrell Suggs on Sunday.
It's been a bad week for elite left tackles. Ryan Clady was shut down for the year with a Lisfranc injury, and the Seahawks put Russell Okung on short-term injury reserve with a torn toe ligament. The Texans don't have any timetable set for Brown's return.
